Public Access Software
- CPAG has designed a three piece suite of programs
that are geared for Public Access Television.
- TAKEONE is a Video titling software that works with
overlay boards used in P.C.s running with Windows 95/98.
TAKEONE can be used for post production editing but
it was designed more for live broadcast graphics display. It can
overlay titles , graphics, and also has a built in timer display.
Switching graphics live is done through the keypad on
your computer . Four movable text boxes work with all the
truetype fonts on your pc. A full clipart library is also
included. Works great to give a professional look to live
broadcast and post production.
- BROADCAST LOG is a form fill database program that
keeps track of all broadcasts that air out of your station. The
input boxes include title of show, producer, host, guests, length
of broadcast, rerun and sponsor. The Log creates a data base that
can render reports using MS Office to show all broadcast events
total air time and show titles. We have found this to be as great
time saving software to produce year end reports that must
be submitted to our cable TV company!
- VIDEO LIBRARY is a simple but powerful way to catalog your
video tapes. after a number of years in the business of managing
a public access station we have found it next to impossible to keep track
of all the tapes we had sitting on the shelves. The VIDEO LIBRARY
makes this task a snap!
Here is TAKEONE in action !
Above is with color genlock off and then with it on with video overlay.

Here are two examples of live broadcast using TAKEONE. Text can also
appear with or without a colored background and with choice of
colors for fonts and backgrounds
